ISO 45001 certification achieved

NOMAC was certified for OHSAS 18001 since March 2011 for Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S). ISO published a new OH&S standard ISO 45001 that will replace OHSAS 18001 and has given 3 years transition time for all organisations certified for OHSAS. NOMAC, as always, embraced the change swiftly by intiating a transition program intended to change sooner. Procedures were revised, awareness sessions conducted and surveillance audit started in May 2019.

The Certification Body, TÜV Middle East (Member of TÜV NORD Group) audited NOMAC's Integrated Management System to verify whether it meets the requirements of ISO 45001:2018. The objective is to award the TÜV NORD CERT certificates for ISO 45001 in the place of OHSAS 18001. The audit was completed successfully on 21/07/2019 and the auditors have recommended to issue the ISO 45001 certificate.
