Considering HSSE as core Principle Value at NOMAC, Management is continuously striving to improve HSE Management System and any system that secure the plant safety. One of those essential systems is Permit To Work System (PTW) which used to control certain types of work that are potentially hazardous. PTW is an imperative part of work’s safe systems for many maintenance activities.
Therefore, as part of the company’s commitment and major initiative to improve our safety system, thorough review of all available PTW platforms was carried out and decided to introduce a new state of the art concept solution and fully integrated with SAP for our PTW/LOTO system called (ENGICA). ENGICA system will help us improve our current system and enhance the safety and integrity of our operation and maintenance activities.
The Project has been started on March 2017 and now the go-live of ENGICA system in SIWPP and SHUAA Plants has been achieved and rolling out to all NOMAC projects including its subsidiaries is in progress. The system has demonstrated to be the most efficient software to handle all types of jobs, and give a clear indication of all hazards involved and controls applied respectively as well as adopting our NOMAC Safety Rules Procedures.
This transformation from SAP-PTW to ENGICA-PTW is successful; each and every employee's support and commitment is crucial to make this project successful and effective.
